what is the point in a ladder if the skill is not reset back to 1500 when the results are

with the skill not being reset, there is no point in reseting the results as it means nothing

when you have some one with a 1-0-0 ahead of some one with 4-0-1 doesnt that scream that some thing is rong

reset the skill to 1500 and bring back an element of the ladder that is missing proper competion

reset the skill to 1500 and watch how people will acturly challenge others and will play more as they have to if they want to be top.

think of it like a football league why even have a new season if the the top team has 70 points from the season before witch would mean new people and lower down have a disadvantage as soon as they join this site.

why would new people want to join a ladder that caters to old results were top players only have to play 4 times a week to stay top were as some one else has to play 50 to even get near.

if these top players are so good then why would they mind the skill being reset when the ladder is as thats there chance to show how good they realy are and not realy on and old skill rateing and afk most the month.

this would only help the ladder make it more competative as people will fight for there top spot as it wont be so easy to gain, people will play more as they will need to if they wish to stay on top rather than afk most the time but still keep it.

that will result in more games for people to play it will be alot more fun to play and proper fair competion is what this game is about not just sittin back on ur 1700 rateing never having to worry about getting relagated as all you gotta do is play a couple of games.

but with a skill reset you will need to fight to stay in the ladder to stay at the top and FIGHT to be the best player on ladder by MERIT rather than passed skill.

im supporting u pal on this but to avoid the major cries from hi skillers i think of this

2 skills 1 total/yearly watever and the monthly which effects the ladder which is reset every month not bad idea i mean darkness u play football manager so u should know about this ^^

well if you reset the skill you only need to reset the ladder every 3 months

think of it as a mini season

thats plenty of time for people to get there skill up and show just how good they realy are

good idea and bad at the same time
resting the ladder will make everyone equel the outher in skills and that is the good about ur idea
but if everybody equel and be wquled from time to time what is the need for the skills ?!

the skill is what ur ladder position is calculated with

so if you have 2000 skill

all you would need to do is play 1 game and you would prolly stay top

were as some one with 1700 rateing would need to play 40 games to stay with them(depending on skill)

why should the one who plays only 1 game be more rewarded than some one who plays more.

the idear of a ladder is to play games not play 1 or 2 and then be done as you know ur skill will keep you up.

with a skill reset people that are afk will go down real quick and be replaced alot faster.

meaning a better ladder over all as more games more skill and more people who could win will make people try harder and we will ultimately have better games and get more players due to more popularity
